As long as you are alive, you can improve or you can backslide.

Insomuch as anyone pushes you nearer to God, he or she is your friend.

That what you treasure may have little value by earthly measure. Fred Bauer

When you sow hope into the lives of others, you will reap back tremendous hope for your own life.

When we focus on what we don't have we become blinded to the blessings which surround us. There is nothing wrong with desiring something greater, but to think life is easier in someone else's pasture may not be true.   No matter whose pasture we are in, we will always have to deal with the attitudes of our own heart.

Many people want to experience the fullness of God's promises in their lives, but they are unwilling to do the work that goes along with the Bible's promises.  Most of God's promises are if-then statements, "If you will listen,
" If you seek, then you will find," etc. God's promises are conditional, but He always gives us the strength and the power to meet those conditions.

To glorify anything other than God robs him and us. Everybody has a place of worship, whether it's the church, office or the mirror.

"The Peace of God is not something that is bestowed upon you.
It is the state of mind you cultivate within you."

From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.   If your heart is  full of love, you will speak love. Mother Teresa

Many blessings are given to those who trust the Lord.
Psalm 40:4 TLB

It is always possible to be thankful for what is given rather than to complain what is not given.  One or the other becomes a habit of life.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are Supernaturally given to individuals
as the Spirit wills, but your prayer language
(unknown & known is a permanent gift).

A friend is one to whom one may pour out all the contents of one's heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that gentle hands will take and sift it, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness, blow the rest away.

The purpose of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is not for the cleansing from sin, but empowering for service. Men and women met in the upper room for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
(Acts 1:8)
